Lexmark printer and my laptop
I am going to get an older lexmark printer today. I'm wondering if it will be compatible with a newer model dell lap top. Will I need to get a special cord?
Whhere can I buy cheap ink for my Lexmark printer.
Lexmark ink is around $30 and i refuse to spend that much on printer ink. And that's just for black ink. Are there any stores that sell printer ink for less?
Help! I can't get my Lexmark printer to work with my new HP Pavilon computer.
I have bought a new HP Pavilon computer. With the new Vista windows. I have a new lexmark 3100 series photo printer that I already have with my old computer. I can not get my printer to work with my new computer. My new computer and the printer seems to not be compatiable. I was wondering if I have to get a HP brand printer, for this computer. If any one know how to get lexmark brand to work with HP computer, would appreciate the information.
What specific continuous ink printer do you use?
Currently, I'm using HP 3315 continuous ink. It prints fast in pictures but not in letters. How about you?
What Is You Opinion Of Lexmark Printers?
My wonderful in-laws have bought me a new 4-in-1 wireless Lexmark Printer, the X6650, which looks like it came out in the USA before the UK. Lexmark being an American company, this kinda makes sense lol.[em]lol[/em]Anyway, reviews are definitely "mixed" regarding this printer. The fact that it has 4-in-1 functionality suggests to me that there is more to go wrong with it! I have also heard that the ink cartridges do not last long (especially if photographs are printed) and are very expensive. However, we are getting vouchers for money off the ink so that's not so bad...for now at least. What worries me is that the in-laws have bought this printer from Tesco.com, one of my pet-hate companies. It is £87.23 cheaper than it should have been. What also worries me is that it is a new printer, so why are they reducing it so soon after it came out?[em]blink[/em]If anyone can put my mind at rest about this printer (John is due to pick it up from his Mum's tonight) then please feel free to do so.If I hear lots of bad things about it suring this discussion...and if I don't like using it for whatever reason - I've already told hubby that it's going back and I'll have an HP...
Lexmark Printers and refilling ink cartridges
Gah! I have been trying off and on the past few weeks to figure out a way to reset my Lexmark printer ink sensor so it shows full or find a way to disable it so I can use the cartridge I refilled. I know the ink cartridge has a chip on it to monitor how many ink drops are used and monitors how many pages have been printed on that cartridge. On some other manufacture's printers you can place tape over certain pins on the chip and trick the ink sensor system into resetting it self so it will read the cartridge as full. That doesn't work for my Lexmark x4690. I've also tried unplugging the printer and plugging it back in several times to try to get it's flash memory to reset. That doesn't work either.I've been reading up on it and looks like Lexmark is very territorial about their inkjet cartridges and allowing the customers to refill them on their own. I understand they want to make money but here is my problem with this. The printer cartridges that go to my printer are no longer sold in my area, I bought a printer that was an exclusive to circuit city and only circuit city carried the cartridges and the Lexmark online store doesn't carry them but they promise to carry them...
what do you pay for your ink cartridge for your printer
i had an hp printer and i was paying about 50 each for black and for color. it was crazy to spend 100 every time. i just bought a new 3 in one lexmark printer and it cost me less for the printer then to buy ink for my old one. now it's only 25 dollars for both black and color together. i can't beleive it.
Ink Cartridges
So what do you do when your ink is empty? Do you chuck them and go buy new ones? Do you recycle or donate them to a cause? Do you trade them in to a store for some money off new ones? Or do you refill them? I personally refill them. I can do so for a dollar or two per refill. I usually can refill them at least 5 times (usually more) before the cartridge starts giving me problems. I own a Lexmark printer. The cartridges for it are some of the most expensive ones I have ever seen; so for me refilling is the best alternative.
IM32FAX.DIL
Is a download for " IM32FAX.DIL not found", available & how do I access it.? I have been getting this error message ever since I had to reinstall my Lexmark printer. I noticed whenever the error message pops up I'm not able to do a few things with emailing, image copying & emailing pictures, as I had been prior to the reinstallaion. Do I need to reinstall the Lexmark software or just get IM32FAX.DIL downloaded?
